This year QoMEX will once again have a “Speed Mentoring” special session, where Ph.D. students and other early-stage researchers will have a chance to pose their questions to, and get advice from, experienced members of the QoE community.
The mentoring slots will be 15 minutes long and will be private. The exact number of sessions each mentee will be able to attend will depend on the overall number of participants, but we are aiming for two to three sessions per mentee.
In order to apply for the Speed Mentoring session, applicants will need to fill out this form, and provide a short scientific CV (pdf, 2 pages max.) and a list of 3 to 4 questions they would like to address with the mentors. The questions should not be overly specific, but rather a starting point for discussion. Applicants should list three to four mentors with whom they would like to have a session. We will optimize the mentor/mentee pairings once all the registrations are in.
Applications will close on August 26th.
